Welcome to the College Catholic Democrats!

College Catholic Democrats is a national student network of Democrats at Catholic colleges and universities working to advance the essential dialog on campus between faith and politics. The Catholic College Democrats (CCD) work closely with a national civic advocacy group, the Catholic Democrats, to play a larger role as Catholics and students within the State and National Democratic Parties. Additionally, by providing a campus forum for conversation, CCD serves as a Catholic voice within the larger university community that offers a public reflection on the ways in which Catholic Social Teaching is being promoted by Democrats and the Democratic Party. CCD promotes an understanding of current political issues through education, advocacy and a deeper awareness of the connection politics and one’s individual faith for the next generation of Democrats.
